Terms & Conditions

Note: This is an English translation provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

1. Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to all contracts between Ascend Media and its clients regarding web design, AI consulting, and software development.

2. Offer and contract

All offers are non-binding until written confirmation. A contract becomes effective with written order confirmation by Ascend Media or commencement of work.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are net plus statutory VAT. Fixed prices apply per project as agreed in writing. Payment terms: 50% on contract signing, 50% on launch. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date.

4. Deliverables and timelines

Delivery dates are estimates unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Timely delivery requires timely cooperation from the client (delivery of content, approvals, etc.).

5. Code ownership

Upon full payment of the project, all rights to the delivered source code, design files, and content are transferred to the client. No vendor lock-in, no hidden dependencies.

6. Warranty

Ascend Media warrants delivery of the agreed services according to current industry standards. Warranty period: 6 months from acceptance.

7. Governing law

Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the competent court at the headquarters of Ascend Media.

8. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
